100 days of running my business- Day 3 was all about setbacks and opportunities

As I embarked on my solopreneurship journey, each day presents new opportunities and challenges.

On day 3, I encountered unexpected setbacks that tested my resilience and required adept time management. Despite the obstacles, I remained determined to make the most of my day, focusing on interview preparation, LinkedIn engagement, and delivering value to potential clients.

There Were Major Setbacks But I Also Made a Drastic Shift in my Priorities

Day 3 began with an unforeseen personal matter that demanded a significant portion of my time. Though frustration loomed, I reminded myself that setbacks are an inevitable part of any journey. Instead of succumbing to despondency, I chose to channel my energy into preparing for an upcoming job interview for a content marketing position.

Swift Adaptation and Preparation was Key on Day 3.

With the remaining time, I swiftly shifted my focus to honing my skills and knowledge for the interview. Leveraging the valuable insights and guidance provided by ChatGPT, I crafted a custom strategy tailored to the specific needs of the company. I delved into relevant topics, brushing up on essential knowledge and anticipating potential interview questions.

Rather than stay on the sidelines, I decided to seize opportunities.

During the day, an unexpected lead emerged through LinkedIn, presenting a chance to showcase my expertise and build a meaningful connection. Eager to seize this opportunity, I scheduled a call with the lead, offering my assistance in crafting a simple yet effective strategy for their new venture. Following the call, I promptly followed up with an email, providing detailed information and a list of deliverables discussed during our conversation.

Nurturing LinkedIn Engagement is right now a high priority for me.

Despite time constraints, I had been consistent in posting updates on LinkedIn, though the engagement was not as substantial as desired. Recognizing the need to implement my LinkedIn strategy more effectively, I made a mental note to dedicate time in the upcoming days to fully capitalize on this powerful professional platform.

Embracing the Value-Based Approach rather than time /deliverable based approach

Upon reviewing the offer sent to the client, I recognized the need for further refinement. This realization prompted me to prioritize revising the offer in the coming days, ensuring it aligned perfectly with the client’s needs and reflected the value I could provide. This newfound understanding affirmed the importance of creating custom offers that emphasize the value I bring, rather than basing them solely on time or specific deliverables.

And with that my day 3 of building my business came to an end.

As nightfall arrived, exhaustion from the day’s endeavors embraced me, and I sought solace in sleep, knowing that day 4 would herald a fresh start. Despite setbacks, I persevered and maximized my productivity, driven by a deep sense of purpose. Recording my journey has indeed increased my productivity!

Onward to Day 4 on this challenging yet fulfilling solopreneurship journey.
