When I started working with clients on their presentations; my aim was to create narrative driven presentations. These presentation inspire and engage audience to take action. However, it is easier said than done!

Creating presentations and writing compelling copies is not easy. It takes monumental effort and creative thinking. It is a process that needs constant learning.

I had to update myself daily to understand what works and what doesn’t work in design. I took inspiration from various online sources. And ended up learning a lot.

However these five influential presentations changed the way I look at content and design. They are inspirational, engaging and aw-some. These presentations and the way they are presented will definitely tug at your entrepreneurial heart strings.

✦ The introduction of the new iPhone by Steve Jobs
The content, style, delivery — every aspect of a good presentation is captured beautifully by Steve Jobs. No wonder Steve Jobs is considered the greatest presenter of all times.

✦ How Google Works by Eric Schmidt
The presentation is so good that even without a live speaker, it is highly impactful. Can you believe that? No speaker! This is the epitome of a great design.

✦ Smoke, a convenient truth by Empowered presentation
Awarded the ‘World’s Best Presentation’ in 2010; it uses powerful images and terrifying yet accurate data to educate the audience about the effects of smoking.

✦ Where does creativity hide by Amy Tan
In this Ted Talk, Amy Tan uses storytelling voice, strong visuals and personal anecdotes to pose questions in the audience’s mind, instead of educating them through facts and statements.

✦ The Power of Belief by Tony Robbins
With a different approach by using a whiteboard and pen. ; this presentation kept the audience hooked till the end.

These presentations not only kept me hooked till the last second, but also taught me a lot about how leaders and entrepreneurs share their knowledge. It gave me access in to the minds of some of the best leaders. coaches and entrepreneurs.

And the biggest lesson I learned- “The only way to attain perfection is through constant learning and practice. And every good skill that you acquire over time is a tale of constant adaptation, revision and change.”
